By creating an account or using Sanctuary Pathways ("the App"), operated by Soulful Sexology Sanctuary LLC ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Sanctuary Pathways offers self-guided shadow work, reflection, writing, grounding, and personal-growth content for personal, educational use. It is for education, reflection, writing, grounding, personal growth, and self-discovery. It is not therapy, diagnosis, medical treatment, crisis intervention, or a substitute for professional mental health care, and it does not create a clinician-client or counselor-client relationship.
The App is not equipped to respond to emergencies. If you are in crisis or immediate danger, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. Do not rely on the App for urgent or emergency support.
We may offer a Sanctuary-managed trial of Pathways Membership: 7 days of Pathways Membership access. No payment information is required to begin the trial. The Sanctuary-managed 7-day trial does not automatically become a paid membership. A separate affirmative purchase is required.
Because the trial does not collect a payment method, no automatic charge occurs when it ends. If you want continued paid access after the trial, you must affirmatively choose to purchase Pathways Membership through an available approved commerce channel. Trial eligibility may be limited and may depend on prior trial or membership history.
Pathways Membership is currently offered at $19.99/monthly. Paid membership begins only after you explicitly complete a valid purchase through an available, approved commerce channel.
Starting or using a trial does not start paid billing. Once purchased, a paid membership renews at the price and interval shown at the time of purchase, under the billing rules of the channel through which you purchased it, until it is canceled.
When available, Pathways Membership may be purchased through the Apple App Store on iOS, through Google Play on Android, or through our web checkout, where payments are processed by Stripe.
Not all members are billed by the same provider. A membership purchased through the Apple App Store is managed through your Apple subscription settings. A membership purchased through Google Play is managed through your Google Play subscription settings. A membership purchased on the web is managed through the Sanctuary web billing portal supported by Stripe.
Where Apple or Google Play controls the billing, we cannot cancel or change that subscription from within our own billing system.
Apple Pay and Google Pay, where supported, may be offered as payment methods through Stripe on the web; they are payment methods, not Apple App Store or Google Play subscription billing, and they are not available on every device or browser.
We do not receive or store your full card number; payment details are handled by the applicable payment provider.
Canceling stops future renewal under the billing rules of the provider through which you purchased. Paid access may remain active through the period you have already paid for.
Canceling does not automatically erase your account, your Journal writing, your Journey history, or the Pathways you have completed; your stored work remains subject to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple's policies and processes.
Refunds for purchases made through Google Play are subject to Google Play's policies and processes.
Refunds for purchases made on the web are handled under the applicable Sanctuary process supported by Stripe and the governing policy. Questions about a purchase can be directed to our office.
Membership pricing may change in the future. Any price change will be communicated with applicable notice and will be subject to the rules of the platform or provider through which you purchased and to applicable law.
When a trial or paid membership ends, your account is not erased, and your Journal writing, saved reflections, Journey history, and the Pathways and Passages you have completed are not removed because access ended.
Access to paid content may return to the membership-access state that applies to your account. Your stored work remains subject to our normal account and data policies, including the Privacy Policy.
Journal entries and reflections you create remain yours. We store them to provide the service to you and do not sell your personal journal content to third parties.
You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to disrupt its operation, or use it in a way that violates applicable law.
The App is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soulful Sexology Sanctuary LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
